Questions about Chucklet & Honey, delivery, and shipping

Do you have a storefront?Group of cookies

Not yet. But we hope to very soon. Right now we are located in a commercial kitchen in Kingston Springs, just outside of Nashville.

Can I pick up the cookies in Nashville?

Yes. When you are ready to place your order, just call us to let us know that you prefer to pick up your cookies, and we’ll make sure they’re ready for you. We can then take your order over the phone to avoid shipping charges.

Can I just drop by the kitchen to buy cookies?

Right now we bake to order, so we don’t have extra cookies for drop-in purchases. Until we get a storefront, you’ll need to call ahead to place an order. We’ll make sure the cookies you want are ready when you want them.

How far in advance should I place an order?

Earlier is always better. But typically 48 to 72 hours in advance should be enough.

Do you ship cookies?

Yes, we ship Fedex Ground for an $9 flat fee. Please read our shipping policy in detail. Since Nashville is centrally located, roughly 70% of the country can receive our cookies within the recommended 2- to 3-day window when choosing Fedex Ground. If you prefer a specific arrival date, please call our cookie kitchen at 615.200.0780 This is so our cookies will arrive fresh, since we do not add any preservatives.

Are you open on the weekends? Can I do next-day? If I order on Thursday or Friday, can I get cookies the next day?

We take orders 24/7 online, but we only bake and ship cookies Monday through Wednesday for now. We do not ship on Thursday or Friday. You can always talk to us about your custom needs, we’ll see what we can do. For specifics on your timing and delivery options, you can always call the cookie kitchen at 615.200.0780

Can I pick up my cookies on the weekend?

Currently our pick-up days are Monday through Wednesday. Our cookies are best consumed within 5 days of baking, so a Wednesday pickup should be fine if you need cookies for a weekend event. For catering needs, please call the kitchen at 615.200.0780.

Do you ship overseas/internationally?

Sorry—we don’t. Our cookies don’t contain any added preservatives because freshness is so important, so we only ship in the continental United States.

When I go to order, it says the store is closed for maintenance. When will it be up again?

When the store is closed, it usually means we cannot take any more orders for the day or week. Since we are a small, southern bakery, we can only take a limited number of orders per day. Please check back the following morning.

I just got a message that said “Your order cannot exceed $136, please remove items from your bag.” I want to order more items, what should I do?

Since our warehouse is small, we can’t house huge boxes for shipping. We therefore must split your items into smaller, more manageable shipments, while still saving you as much money on shipping as possible.

Cookie-Specific Questions

How many different varieties can I get in a dozen box?Cookie boxes

Our dozen boxes, called the TWELVE, are only available in single varieties. For a sampler pack, please see the TWENTY.

Can I mix and match the sampler pack?

Not at this time. The TWENTY sampler pack offers 5 each of all four varieties. Call 615.200.0780 for large order exceptions.

Do you sell individual cookies?

Currently we only sell cookies by the dozen. If you want cookies for a special event, call Chuck in the bakery at 615.200.0780 to discuss options.

Do your cookies contain nuts?

Yes, both our Peanut Butter Oatmeal Fluffer-Nutters and our Double Chucklet Hazelnuts inherently contain nuts. The Double Chucklet Hazelnuts can be made without actual Hazelnuts if requested (the Nutella stays in though). Just ask when you place your order.

Are your cookies kosher? Gluten-free?

We specialize in traditional, full-on butter ‘n’ flour ‘n’ eggs cookies like your mom used to make. They are not kosher or gluten-free. Maybe someday.

Do you make other sweets to order (cut-out cookies, specialty cakes, fried pies)?

No. We only make cookies.

How long do the cookies last?

You’ll love them so much that we’re sure they’ll be gone before they go stale! However, if you’re not going to eat them within 5 days, we suggest putting them in a freezer-safe Ziploc bag. They’ll keep in the freezer for up to one month.

How big are the cookies?

Each of our cookies is roughly 3 inches in diameter and weighs 2 ounces. The Peanut Butter Oatmeal Fluffer-Nutter is a bit heavier (and thicker!), weighing in at approximately 3.2 ounces.

You used to have a Sweet Tea Buttercream Cookie, and it was delicious! What happened to it?

Well, it just didn’t ship properly. The summer months were tough on this particular cookie and we took it out of our top lineup for quality reasons. It is a best-seller locally, though, and we will continue to make it for weddings and special events. If you’d like to order it, please call our kitchen for pricing. There will be surcharge to ship so they arrive in tact, but we can do it.
